Exploroholic Terms of Service/Privacy Policy

Please read these Terms of Service completely using Exploroholic, which is owned and operated by Alicia Heath. This agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of Exploroholic. By accessing and using this service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Exploroholic is a travel agency offering trip planning and booking services for destinations worldwide.

Third Party Sites/Services

Exploroholic does not provide its own transportation, tours, excursions or other travel experiences. Although Exploroholic reserves transportation, accommodations, tours, excursions, restaurant reservations and other travel experiences offered by third party suppliers, such actions do not in any way imply, suggest, or constitute Exploroholic’s sponsorship or approval of third party suppliers, or any affiliation between Exploroholic and third-party suppliers.

By purchasing planning services through Exploroholic, you acknowledge and agree that your interactions with third party suppliers are at your own risk. Exploroholic will have no liability with respect to the acts, omissions, errors, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any third-party suppliers or any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting from your interactions with third party suppliers. I strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site that you visit as a result of the planning process with Exploroholic.

Intellectual Property

The site at exploroholic.com and all of its original content are the sole property of Exploroholic and are, as such, not to be reproduced, copied, or altered in any way.

If you share content of Exploroholic on social media or another interface, you must acknowledge that Exploroholic is the rightful owner of the content.

Payment Policy

Depending on the type of trip being planned, a planning fee may be collected by Exploroholic before planning begins. The planning fee is non-refundable and is not a deposit towards the total trip cost. Depending on the suppliers used to render travel services and the amount of time before travel that bookings are made, a deposit may be made, with final payment collected shortly before travel. If bookings are made on short notice, the total trip cost will likely be charged at the time of booking. If a payment is not received or payment method is declined, services will be forfeited.

When purchasing services through Exploroholic, you agree that you are legally authorized to enter into this agreement and use this website, purchase services of Exploroholic, and that your identifying information is true and correct. Any false or fraudulent reservation is prohibited, and any user who attempts such reservation may have his or her travel plans terminated, with no refund provided.

I will collect payment information from you, including your credit card number, cardholder name, expiration date, authentication code, and billing address. This information will be protected during the entire process. Please note that some credit card companies may impose a “Foreign Transaction Fee” even though your transaction is denominated in U.S. dollars. This is an arbitrary fee that occurs in a small number of cases and accrues entirely to the credit card–issuing bank. Exploroholic does not control these bank-imposed fees nor benefit from them.

Refunds/Cancellations

The planning fee is non-refundable. If you cancel your trip after other bookings have been made, refunds for additional services, tours, hotels, restaurants, etc, will be subject to the policies of the applicable third party suppliers and are not guaranteed by Exploroholic. Trip cancellations will result in a 3% fee of the total trip cost, payable to Exploroholic.

Pricing

Exploroholic’s pricing is subject to change at any time, unless a booking has been confirmed.

Consultation rates will be determined once the client’s needs have been assessed and are based upon the breadth and depth of the desired information and the amount of time necessary for me to gather and deliver the information.

Documents

U.S. citizens travelling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months past the return date. Some countries require a visa and/or immunizations for transit or entry. Passengers are responsible to ensure that they have all the proper documents for entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at https://travel.state.gov for further information. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are travelling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens.

When applicable, advice and assistance may be offered in obtaining visas and necessary documents required for international travel. However, it is the sole responsibility of the client to obtain these documents prior to travel. Exploroholic will not be responsible for travel that may be forfeited as a result of a lack of required documents.

Exploroholic receives and protects any information you provide when purchasing or booking services. Personal information such as full name, birth date, passport information, and credit card information may be necessary in order to plan and book travel services.

Exploroholic may use your personal information to make reservations and bookings with third party suppliers, to confirm purchases, to ensure correct billing, to resolve disputes or troubleshoot problems, and to prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities.

Exploroholic may share necessary information with airline, lodging, excursion and tour companies that will provide the desired services to you on your trip. By requesting a personalized plan, you are authorizing Exploroholic to disclose to the provider the information required to complete the reservation and provide the travel, lodging, excursion or activity. Please note that these providers also may contact you as necessary to obtain additional information about you, facilitate your reservation with them, or respond to a review you may submit. Please note that providers are not controlled by Exploroholic and personal information disclosed to them is subject to the applicable provider's privacy policy and security practices.

I may also use or disclose personal Information as I believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legitimate and enforceable subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public or government authorities, including public or government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions or otherwise establish or exercise our legal rights; (e) to protect and defend our rights, property or safety or those of any of our affiliates, our customers, or others; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, or that of our affiliates, you or others; (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain; (h) to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; or (i) as otherwise required by law.

Changes to This Agreement

Exploroholic reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your decision to continue to use this site and its services constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service.

Therefore, I ask that you check and review this agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this agreement or any changes I make to this agreement, I ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access Exploroholic immediately.
