**Iberostar Cozumel will charge $100/person to be on site for the wedding if you choose to stay elsewhere.

We don’t expect you to join in these activities, but if you’re interested we would love for you to join. Please let us know if you’re interested so that we can try to accommodate those who want to join.

• How do I get there?

  • Book a flight to Cozumel with your hotel stay (link above) or separately from hotel. You can also book a transfer together with your stay, or you can take a taxi at the airport.

  • If you choose to fly to Cancun, you'll need to take a ferry to Cozumel, then a taxi to the hotel.

  • For help arranging transportation reach out to Alicia Heath, travel coordinator.
     

• Do I need a passport?

  • YES!

  • Traveling to Mexico is considered international travel.
     

• What is the expected wedding attire?

  • The wedding will be held on the beach.

  • It is Mexico in July, it will be hot.

  • Yes
     

• How long should I stay?

  • We suggest a minimum of 3 nights (ex. Thurs-Sun)
     

• Do I have to stay at Iberostar?

  • Yes, please stay at Iberostar Cozumel.

  • Otherwise Iberostar charges $100/person to attend the wedding.
     

• How do we RSVP?

  • Please let us know if you anticipate attending by clicking on the link above.

  • You must RSVP by February 23, 2023.

  • When you book your stay at Iberostar through the link provided above we will get a notification that you plan to attend.
     

• When do we need to book by?

  • All reservations must be made at the link above by June 4, 2023.
     

• Is the water in Mexico drinkable? 

  • No!

  • The hotel will have bottled water.

  • While outside the resort please remember to ONLY drink bottled water.
     

• Do I need pesos (Mexico’s currency)?

  • Yes, it’s better to have it than not.

  • Most things you can use credit cards for.

  • Iberostar Cozumel is also an all inclusive resort, so little cash is needed, but pesos mostly come in handy for tipping & transportation.
